Patients on long-term treatment may be allowed to have a repeat prescription without seeing the doctor each time. If this is the case your prescription will automatically be updated. You may be asked to have a blood test or even provide a BP reading (a machine is available in the waiting room for this purpose).
If the computer indicates the time has come for a check-up, the staff will not be able to process prescriptions until you have had this. Please check your prescription printout for up-to-date instructions
All routine repeat prescription requests must be in writing and take 48 hours to process (this may be via the practice email address). See Reception for the range of request options available. If you have a nominated pharmacy this will be delivered electronically and you will not need to collect from the practice. Prescriptions not available on repeat may require you to see a GP.
Access is also available via your computer. See a Receptionist to register for this service.
If you use Holbrooks Pharmacy they can order your repeat prescriptions directly - Please see their staff for details
